Cassie Quarless is a director, producer and writer mainly working in documentary. He co-founded and ran the Black-led London-based production company black & brown for 6 years. Cassie is currently an Eccles Fellow at the British Library and his work has been featured in The Guardian, Teen Vogue and i-D Magazine amongst many others.
As a filmmaker and thinker, Cassie has been invited to lecture, convene workshops and lead panels at a wide variety of institutions. These include UC Berkeley (US), Dartmouth (US), University College London (UK), Tate Modern (UK), Georgetown (US), UCLA (US), USC (US), Museu de Arte do Rio (Brazil), Centro Cultural Buenos Aires (Argentina) amongst many others.
